Samsung came into being in the year 1938 and it is founded by Lee Byung-chul, and initially it started as a trading company that dealt in dried fish, groceries, and noodles.

In 1950, a war broke out between South Korea and North Korea, leading to the devastation of South Korea and the deaths of millions of people on both sides. In the year 1953, there was an armistice signed between these countries; it’s not a peace treaty, so the war technically was never ended. The conflict between these countries has disrupt the business of Samsung, the tech giant also relocated its headquarter from Seoul to Busan.

After the war, the South Korean government started normalizing the things related to the economic affairs; rapid construction and industrialization have been made by the government. Their first-ever television model, named P-3202, was one of the best-selling televisions around the globe. In the year 1971, Samsung exported 500 units of its black and white television to Panama, and later the country achieved a great milestone in the television industry.

The tech giant Samsung’s journey in the mobile industry has started in the year 1990’s when they launched their first ever mobile device SH-100, initially this device was not successful in the market then after they launched another device named SH-200, and this time it is failed again, but the tech giant Samsung didn’t stopped making the mobile devices, and this time they launched SH-M210 and this device got great success this time.

In the year 2009, Samsung introduced its first-ever Android smartphone, which was named with the Galaxy series. Samsung’s Galaxy series is the mark of the most advanced, high-end Android smartphones with superior processor speed and advanced Super AMOLED displays. The Samsung Galaxy S and A series left behind Nokia in the smartphone industry and took the maximum market share in the world of smartphones. Currently Samsung’s biggest competitor is Apple; these two companies are right now ruling the smartphone world with their competitive devices.
